Dinardo's last year. Dinardo gave Lou Tepper one more year to implement his 3-4 scheme even though everyone knew a drop linebacker wasn't going to work against spread offenses that are prevalent today. Dinardo was too stubborn, wouldn't axe Tepper, and didn't make it through the season before getting fired.

Miles stubbornly refuses to relinquish control of the offense. Mile's didn't fire Cameron and bring in a new offensive coordinator and give up the reins to the offense this past off-season, even though anyone who's watched LSU recently knows it's the offense that needed fixing and not the defense. Cameron gets a lot of heat for the offense and deservedly so in some instances, but when push comes to shove it's Mile's philosophy that's the problem and that won't change till Miles is gone.

I hope the team rallies, but I'm seeing signs that Miles has lost the team. Just look at the end of the game. Our players lost total control of their emotions. This team had championship aspirations, but it went up in smoke after the first game. Not only did they lose, but they looked bad in losing.

Will Miles survive the year? He's always been incredibly lucky so I wouldn't rule it out. History repeats itself and coaches are hired to inevitably be fired. Very few leave on their own terms. With the seeds being planted last year and now the horrendous start this year, I can definitely see a replay of 1999 occurring.

I remember 1999. Miles will not survive. His stubbornness will cost him his job. He learned nothing last year.

I disagree with this comment. It's not Lou's fault that Brady James was not talented enough to fill the droplinebacker role. And Thomas Danson was starting to grasp the concepts and was destined to become the next Kevin Hardy.
