Looking for a place to stay in the Cocodrie/Dulac area for one night soon

I'm taking my son on a fishing trip down that way and was looking for some suggestions on a small inn or something like that. We will be meeting the boat around 5:30AM so not too keen on driving in from Nola at 4:00AM.
Any help is appreciated. I know a lot of folks out there aren't big on having websites and I haven't had much luck with online searches.
The Cocodrie marina looks nice, but they are looking for over $200 a night.

I would try and call Sportsmans Paridise also the Sandpiper, disclaimer have not stayed anywhere in Cocodrie besides Boudreauxs years ago.

Jug's at the end of the road in dularge has decent rooms and I think he charges $120 a night and it includes your launch and ice. Just a few miles to the west.

Before we had a camp down there we would stay at Sportsmans Paradise most of the time.
Every once in a while my Dad would surprise us with a "special" trip where we stayed at Coco Marina and went out with Captain Aaron instead of in our boat. Great memories.
Anyway, its been years since I stayed at SP, but it was definitely cheaper and more of a motel than Coco Marina.

I would recommend Sandpiper. That's where my buddies stay when they go down.

Thanks guys. I booked Sportsman Paradise.
Going to work out perfect as they have a restaurant on site

I've stayed there many times. Good folks and good food. Just beware of the traffic.
