Is there a way to shave/grind 1/4" mirror/glass?

I had a custom mirror frame welded for me the other day and instead of buying a custom fit glass ($250), I decided to try and buy a pre-made one from Lowes ($50).
Unfortunately the corners on the frame are slightly rounded due to the filler metal from the welding. I need to shave/grind my corners about 1-2mm for the mirror to fit.
Any suggestions?

I have had good luck using a belt sander with a fine grit belt and use light pressure.

Get a scoring tool and some needle-nose pliers. Make a relief score in the mirror and snap it off with the pliers. You can then get some fine grit paper and sand the edges slightly.
Just make sure you score it really good and use the oil that they sell with the scoring tool. You can find both in the window section at Lowe's or Home Depot.
Just FYI I have broken several pieces of glass over the years learning how to cut glass correctly.
ETA: I now see you only need a little taken off. Just sand it very carefully with fine grit paper.

Get an angle grinder and clean up the corners of the frame and leave the mirror alone.
Or maybe the dremmel if it's not too much.

Glass/Mirror are made with Sand, so sandpaper is the best option.
