my cousin is bringing his class of high schoolers from England to NYC

thier budget is tight so he asked me this

"so i was wondering if there are any websites u guys know of with discounts for cheap food outlets?? even a mcdonalds free cheeseburger!! "

It is NYC, nothing goes easily or cheap in that town.

$1 slices (which I wouldn't endorse under normal circumstances) abound in NYC, and kids probably won't object to the rubbery cheese and overall greasy mediocrity of those slices. TimeOut has a decent listing of cheap eats: LINK

My fave NYC cheap eats deal is Gray's Papaya "recession special": two hot dogs and a papaya juice for $5.

Shepherding a pack of kids on a budget is made a bit easier if you require them to tote a refillable water bottle and teach 'em to drink water rather than sodas.
