I think it's always on the menu on Maine and a few other places. Can't see it going nationwide.

Hummmm.....if that was available at my local McD's I'd probably eat it as about as often as eat the McRib sammich. While picking up happy meals for the kiddos, id get it one time just to see how horrible it is and then never again.

On the flip side of that....my wife (she is a little skinny gal is hold the fat jokes) absolutely loves the McRib

Why would Maineiacs eat (fake) lobster? I would think that it would be served everywhere else BUT up East.

I saw the McD's lobster roll when I went to Maine in 1997.

It was interesting then.

Now that I know more about quality food, not so much.

Seems like they would stand a better chance of fooling people elsewhere. But I know that they deploy that tactic nationwide with other types of special menu items.

I guess they are counting on the familiarity of the food type and the "fastness"/price to overcome the fact that people know it is way subpar.

I mean...everyone knows there is better burgers at different burger joints but yet McDs still sells a metric shite-ton of nasty arse burgers.

They serve them up in Nova Scotia. I haven't eaten one but it's pretty hard to make a really bad Lobster Roll.
