Any experience with E.R. Shaw barrels?

Ordered a bull barrel for my 10/22, they seem to have mixed reviews online but mostly good. Anyone have one of these or ever shot through one? Preciate it.

I don't have an ER Shaw barrel (although that may change soon), but I've read about them a great deal on the 'net. Every barrel maker will occaisionally turn out a bad barrel, but from what I've read, I'd say Shaw barrels are a solid barrel that's known as a decent buy for your money. They're not usually a benchrest quality barrel, but they're much less expensive than benchrest type barrels. I bet you'll be pleased. Let us know how it turns out!

You boys need to save your money and buy Feddersen 10/22 barrels. Easily the best barrel I have, better than Green Mountain, Tactical Solutions and Rimfire Technologies.

Thanks fellas, been looking around for other brands that never seem to be in stock, and this one popped up at Midway (insert creepy Larry smile). Was on sale for 89 bucks, so figured it was worth being a guinea pig over. Will let the board know if it sucks arse.

I have used two TacSol barrels on my builds and love them. Not saying that they are the best but I am now on the mindset that it aint broken, dont fix it.

Actually, the ER Shaw barrel I'm considering is for a 221 Fireball build.
I'm not familiar w/ Fedderson barrels, but would like to hear about them. Looking at their website, the prices aren't too bad. Tell me more about their barrels. How do you like their "matte black" finish? What's the accuracy like?

Well the barrel came in and I got it assembled. Passes the eye test (finish is very nice) and installed easily. Will do some plinking this weekend, hopefully it shoots as well as it looks.
