they also seemed to go for the "omg is spider man going to fall to his death here" well too many times. We know he can just shoot another web and latch on to something before he hits, why do you keep doing this?
I also hated how he got into crime fighting. Oh hey I'll just randomly sling around seeking out white criminals with long blonde hair, which apparently NY has a shite ton of.

In the amazing Spider-Man he built a device to shoot web and it locks up quite a few times causing him to fall.

I thought The Amazing Spiderman was decent and not on the same level as Spiderman 2

TASM Was a better action film, SM2 was a better comic book film. To each his own.

I didn't even really find TASM to be all that action packed. SM2 probably had better fight scenes.

It's really flawed, but it's enjoyable and well acted. A new screen writer and director could do the sequel a world of good.
