Whats is a reasonably priced ticket to a hornets game?

I go to LSU and me and my girlfriend want to go to a couple hornets game this year. While I was looking on hornets.com the price was like 185 for two which is ridiculous to me. Just looking to get some insight from hornet regulars.

$185 for 2 tickets will get you a seat in the lower bowl about 2 sections over from the Club section in the corner, these are good seats.
$185 for 1 ticket will get you a club section seat to a Marquee(good opponent)game.
It also depends on where you like to see the game from. Center court only, or if the sides and corners aren't a big deal.

there is no bad seat in the arena. just get the cheapest upper deck you can find. for shittier teams, you will be able to find some upper deck on stub hub for cheaper than face value a few days before the game. and every once in a while our regulars give away tickets to a game or two on here.

I dont mind where I sit as long as I can see an appreciate the game. So what would be a good price range for two tickets ?
Also would it be better to go down and try to buy tickets off people outside the arena ?

70 total will get you two good upper deck seats for most games. the games are set so that prices go up for better teams. so the better the team the hornets play, the more expensive the tickets.

not really. stubhub would be your best bet if you don't wanna buy them off hornets.com

It really depends on which game you are going to. Lakers game will be waayyyyy more expensive than a Bobcats game. You can get in some games for as low as $10 per ticket, and high profile games will be at least $50 to get in the door.

Stubhub is your best bet. You can get decent upper deck tickets for $10-20 per ticket. I'd say avoid the upper deck tickets behind the goal. At that point it's just better to watch the game on tv, in my opinion.

Buy the cheapest possible uppers from Stubhub (usually $3-5/ticket). Sit on first row of upper in empty seats (upper is rarely full, and I've never had a problem doing this). View is comparable to that of the suite level for around $10 for two tickets.
Never pay face and never buy tickets in the lower bowl.
Stay posted on here as people sometimes give away/sell lower bowl tickets cheap. Also, follow the Hornets on Twitter as they often give away tickets.

considering you can get into just about any game for $10 face value, this is stupid advice.
its the same as buying off stub hub after the fees but you can actually plan way in advance to go to a game

I'll be sure to post this in your scalping attempts on Ticket Exchange.
You just keep digging yourself deeper, mon.

Depends on game, day of the week, how well the team is doing (for scalping)...a lot of variables man.
Truthfully though, first few games will be pretty packed BC of the rookies, I'm sure (although i hope not) it'll slack off midseason if the team doesn't live up to "expectations" to casual fans.

Last year they were damn near free. Might be a little harder to come by this year.

Go cheap to one game. See what works for you and your taste.
Then ask for help to find those tickets and a reasonable price for them.

The last couple of seasons I worked evenings so I wasn't able to buy season tickets but I usually just bought individual tickets the day of or the day before games, and Stubhub usually has good deals on them. Most of the times against teams like the Bobcats, Timerwolves, Suns, etc... I was able to snag lower bowl for around $15-20, but I doubt it will be like that this year the new buzz the team has. I rarely ever went to a Lakers, Celtics, Bulls game just because the single tickets were at least $50, compared to paying $20 against the Bobcats in the lower bowl.

Anyone know if the birthday code still works? I was not able to go to any games last year and try it.

Side bar... has anyone ever gotten floor seats to a game? I go to a bunch of games and would love to sit on the floor one time. It doesn't really matter the opponent as I just want to see the NBA player play up close.
