LSU showed with it's goal line stand Saturday why we should "Never Give Up On The Tigers". That's my motto and I'm sticking to it. But it is time to face the fact that LSU football is currently in decline. Yes the talent is there in certain positions but certainly not where it counts the most like the running game and competitive coaching. You can't compete at a high level i.e. against Florida and Alabama without it. LSU won recent National Championships with strong defenses not smart ones. We don't have a big enough scoring machine to overcome an average defense in an SEC "Power" conference. We will probably be 8-3 or 7-4 entering the game against Arkansas and as we all know we will never be satisfied with that. The fall from No. 4 in the nation will be a painful one.

It is also obvious in the play by both the O-line and D-line!

it's hard not to decline after a National Championship, especially in the SEC. Florida is the exception not the rule

LSU is 4-0 - Miles can't even do a decline right.

Call the goal line stand what you will. It was great, but if the QB makes the proper read on the option on 4th down, we lose that game. There was a lead blocker and a catch man on a WIDE OPEN option. So thank the QB for losing that game. Not LSU's defensive line for winning please.

Why don't any of you butif frickers ever play the butif's from the positive angle where the Tigers are concerned? We all get it...they have not looked great but this shite is pathetic.

Fair enough but there are "almost" plays in every game. But that one does truly stand out.
