In Metry
Full sun area and want to switch to bermuda — currently have patchy st. Aug with lots of weeds. Cox Cable recently did some work by the street and patched their mess with Bermuda which is thriving and overtaking the st. Aug and weed combo. Want to switch the rest of the yard with Bermuda, specifically thinking Tahoma 31. What’s the best method to do this?

St Aug to Bermuda
I’m wondering if you can kill off your St. Aug by mowing at 1 inch for about two months then hitting it with glyphosate.

At aug is pretty resilient. You’re most likely going to have to dig it out and regrade with river sand. Curious to how this turns out.

Step 1: roundup
Step 2: wait a week and roundup again
Step 3: level/topdress
Step 4: sod Bermuda
Step 5: cut low, SA will die off if cut at ~2”, Bermuda loves it
