October bermuda

Haven’t done much of anything but cut the second half of the summer due to drought. I’m going to spot spray this week with celcius. Can I hit with a high n2 fertilizer end of sept/early October and get any benefit? I’m in plaquemine, la.

It’s really time to start thinking about spring.

You wouldn’t want to put down nitrogen this late, especially not a slow release. We typically get 40s in October.

Apply a pre emergent this weekend and shut her down!
I bought the Lesco Stonewall as recommended here many times.

Do not put N on your lawn. You can put potash down if you feel you need to do something.

re: October bermuda
I have bare areas in my yard . I was thinking of putting down something to try to promote growth over those areas. Guess I’m rethinking it since ronk said not a good idea. Thanks.

re: October bermuda
At this point the only thing I would put out would be potash. Possibly some compost.
