Underestimating all things LSU.

The talking heads are underestimating;
-11:00 am Start (Fans); In 2018 LSU played a highly ranked UGA at 11:00 am, and the stadium was rocking. LSU dominated UGA that day. Yes night games are better, but fans will show up in force.
-TENN Bye week: Thus far LSU has been the better conditioned team in every game they have played. In fact, one could argue that conditioning has been the reason LSU is 4-1.
-Passing Offense in Auburn Game: LSU had 6 drops by wide receivers, and Auburn has one of the better defenses in the SEC. Tennessee's defense is nowhere near as good as Auburns, especially their pass defense.
-LSU pass defense against Auburn: The reason LSU struggled in the first half, against Auburn's passing game, is because LSU game planned to stop the run and Auburn caught LSU's defense out of position. Once Matt House made the necessary adjustments, Auburn's offense was shut down.
I'm not saying that LSU is going to win the game, but I think the above talking points are situational and not directly proportional to LSU's matchup with Tennessee.

Personally, I love it! Reminds me of earlier days when teams came in cocky, got their asses handed to them and left with that look of “what the hell just happened?!!”
GEAUX TIGERS!!!

You sure that wasn’t a 2:30pm game on CBS?

It was. I’ve seen a lot of people say it was 11am on the board to fit their narrative.

If the sun is out, our fans say it’s an 11am game.

I was starting to think I had lost my mind. I was at that game and while I was rather inebriated, I sure as hell don’t remember it being an 11 AM kick.

Auburn's defense is terrible. Ask Penn State. A lot more off the mark throws and failure to throw, than drops. Has to improve immediately or no chance.

It was indeed a 2:30 game.
That said the premise is the same. LSU fans will show up for the 11:00 am kickoff.

Players were probably worried and shaken up a little too since at the time they were wondering if their teammate was ever going to walk again. Hard to put that completely aside for a game.

The Georgia game was 2:30 but the stadium was rocking

I brought 3 newbies from Texas for the UGA game and it was a 2:30 game and the sun was baking us. One of the hottest games I have been to in Death Valley.

Not shooting at you, My Man. Talking Points are all good and deserve consideration except for the common misperception about GA starting time.
