Only questions are if the Saints fire Allen before he loses 15 games this year and if Loomis is also thrown out the building.

on 10/2/22 at 2:17 pm to PUBYou haven’t watched enough the Saints long enough to say Olave is the worst move outside of the Ricky Williams trade. The Saints history is littered with bad draft choices and dumb trades. The franchise didn’t start in 2006.

I agree it sucks we don’t have a 1st round next year but at least Olave is playing very well.

Well said. The Sullivan trade was much worse in hindsight considering you gave up 2 firsts to take that draft bust. That trade set the team back a couple years to regroup.
The Tebucky Jones and Jason David trades were also bad, but that’s due to more the player signed than anything else.
Hell, the Saints didn’t have a draft pick in the 1983 Draft, making a trade with Green Bay. They had the #11 pick. That is a very very bad draft to not have your first pick. But thanks to Bum, we trotted out Ken Stabler opposed to having a pick for Kelly, Marino, or even Tony Eason.
We will see if Eagles trade matches that, and I’ll admit the deal itself is one sided but it’s a wait and see approach for now.
