This is all good and great but when Jose Ramos Cortex announces his commitment to an LSU rival school and then proceeds to humiliate LSU every time he plays us, maybe then someone at LSU will get the message.

It sounds like space in the booth was cited but not really the issue. If it was, they could at worst have him as a 'remote commentator' like they used to do during covid where they basically just commented on what they watched on TV. Wouldn't be ideal but could work. I too liked the Spanish highlights (don't listen to many games on the radio and when I do it's the English broadcast) and also agree it seems like if nothing else it's good marketing/exposure. Perhaps there's something we're not privy to driving that decision, but I don't know what it would be

This sucks, it was the one of the coolest things I could bond with my FIL. He started watching football when I started dating my wife (no pics). His English is better than when I met him 5 years ago, but those broadcasts we're awesome when we got together to watch games. He actually got into LSU Football after moving here from Puerto Rico because his co-workers were fans and they offered the special broadcast
