We plan to spend today up in Torrey Pines for beach and hiking but we’re thinking of finding a good, fun restaurant for our last night in SD. Kids ranging from 8-15 with varying degrees of food bravery.

Any suggestions for a nice dinner in La Jolla, Little Italy, or Torrey Pines area?

I’d go to a restaurant in Del Mar. Sbicca, Jake’s, Poseidon, etc.

My rec for LaJolla is to have drinks on the outside terrace at La Valencia Hotel. Fantastic atmosphere overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Cafe Sevilla downtown was really good. Wear some LSU gear in. The chef is friends with someone from Port Allen. I wore my LSU shirt in and was treated fantastically. Chef came and sat with us and brought us some fancy 30 month aged prosciutto on the house. Mmmmmm!!!
