I am excited about our new coach and his impressive record, I have no doubt he can and will win the NC while he is here. While reading about his accomplishments and other comments I have not read anything about his in game adjustments. Does anyone know if this is one of his strengths or something that he is know for?

He will adjust his candy cane in the SEC's ash and it will go ding, ding, ding.

Any coach that wins that much has to be good at adjustments

I would say that with his ability to win football games in big numbers, his in game adjustments have been just fine.

The only instance I can give you of a lack of adjustments is the NC State game in 2016. Your boy threw the ball around in a hurricane and caught an L to a pedestrian NC State team (finished 7-6). Kizer was 9/26. Lost 10-3.

That was also Kelly's adjustment year. He's been pretty good in most other games I've seen. That is the one head scratcher.

26 total passes is throwing it around? I vaguely remember the game only due to the conditions but that isn't a lot especially if they were behind and trying to comeback

They weren't behind by more than 3 for most of the game. NC State put in their running QB in pretty quick, only 14 total attempts. 53 Rushes for the wolfpack.

Not coming at you or anything but go back and look at the game log. The playcalling for ND was crazy in those conditions.

Just as a for instance. ND got the ball first and threw three passes and punted.

Also, for the record, NC State's TD was on a blocked punt in the fourth quarter.

His in game adjustments are very aligned. It's incredible how aligned they are.

I admit to being a closet Notrw Dame fan. I grew up with an Irish grandfather and he LOVED ND. So I’ve watched a ton of ND games. I can say this is definitely one of his strengths…especially halftime adjustments.

Yet somehow you're unsure if he can make in game adjustments?

Doesn't seem like a legit question

This is what sets Saban apart. I remember the Peach Bowl vs GA. Tech. They were kicking our butts in the first half. Second half was a different story and we won going away. What ever Saban did at halftime worked. I’ve seen other instances as well.
