I think it's clear O had his hands on the defense for the majority of the season. When Jones started changing things and the defense became pretty good, I think that was all him an O got the hell out of the way.

I also think he was trying to run it like an NFL defense. He wasn't going against NFL level Olines and Aaron Rodgers anymore. Once he realized the talent advantage he had on Dline, especially with the 3-4 and being able to attack from every angle, it really started to click for him. Whether he stays here or leaves I think he has a good future.
