LCA is going to steamroll St Charles

I think LCA wins but lets not call the game before it is played. St Charles is a good football team.

They have played 2 common opponents. Notre Dame and Newman.

LCA 27 ND 10
LCA 49 Newman 7

St. Charles 17 ND 13
St. Charles 12 Newman 7

Look to me like both teams play really good defense so this could go any direction I would say.

St. Charles had 7 shutouts and no one scored more than 14 points on them.

Toughest opponents seem to have been (I don't know these teams very well) DeLasalle (W 3-0) and Vanderbilt (W 24-14)Catholic. Both lost to U Lab in the DivII playoffs, Vandy in the semi's.

LCA has had 3 shutouts, Two teams scored more than 13 points on them. Catholic of BR in an LCA loss of 38-17 and 5-A Lafayette High in an LCA win of 47-27.

Toughest opponents, IMO, were Catholic BR (L 38-17), Acadiana (W 14-13) and Westgate (W 19-7).

Catholic playing in Div I Championship game today. Acadiana lost 43-36 to Ponchatoula in the semis. Westgate playing for the 4-A title next week.

I would give the edge to LCA but this is by no means a cakewalk IMO.
