Its High School Football, not big name college or pro sports. They have to work around the schedules of the schools that OWN the stadiums they are playing in.
How dense are some of you?

This question proves you don't know HS football coaches, let alone head coaches & all they deal with. ANY advantage for 1 team/division/class that another doesn't or won't get is a HEATED topic. The different between winning state or losing could very well be that added week for most teams. Especially when it comes to getting a player healthy who may or may not have been in just 1 week.

The teams with a week off aren’t competing in the same class/division as the schools who don’t have the week off. I’m not sure why this is so difficult to understand.
