Killed an Illegal Buck Today, Didn't Tag

I live in a county in East Texas that has antler restrictions. Got a call from my neighbor around 9 this morning that a 6 point was hung up in my barbwire fence. He had been there a while, and managed to break his back, so could only use his front legs. By the time I got there he had freed himself and managed to crawl a few yards into my pasture. Called the local warden, they said it would be several hours before they could get there, and to go ahead and shoot it and not to worry about tagging it. Told me to take a pic of the deer and my hunting license if I was gonna take it to a processor, but not to worry about it if I take care of it myself. I'll be making sausage tomorrow. Free deer!
