Because the opposition wasn't in prevent defense all year

Well after O was told he was fired, if you watched the games. In most we played decent to good for 3 quarters and then it was like in the 4th quarter coaches and play calls were trying to lose games. Hell we got lucky that max threw that against A&M, I think Ed or peetz probably called a pass to the running back 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage

Because O took his headset off and Peetz was able to call plays without meddling

See this is what I’m talking about he didn’t have time to throw the ball on that last pass he got crushed right after he let it go so no he didn’t have time and that’s what saved him he overthinks it too much idk if he is scared to throw a int or whatever the case is he needs to give his receivers the chance to make a play I can think of another qb who was exceptional at throwing to his receivers and letting them make a play need I say who it is

A&M stopped blitzing and played bend/don’t break. They were giving us certain things, and we took them. It wasn’t anything special that Peetz did.

The last play, A&M had the right defense called. They were two-high (cover 2), man underneath. The rush got to Max fast, but he let the ball go in perfect timing to beat the safety on the sideline before he could get to Jenkins.

This was nothing spectacular by Peetz. At the end of games, teams will give you everything you want underneath. I do remember Aggie busting an assignment on one play, but otherwise that drive was standard two-minute ball.

He tried early in the season and we got a frick ton of illegal procedure and delay penalties.
