I don’t have any sources, but his name is the only one that came up early on and then faded away. It’s not becaise he wouldn’t leave the Midwest, it’s because Scott runs a tight lipped office and Fickells side never floated rumors to get him a raise from Cincy.

Tucker, Franklin, Aranda, Riley and whoever else was the flavor of the day had their agents floating stories to media to get them a hefty raise with no interest in leaving.
