We have tons of talent.

We are thin because of a massively depleted roster. I blame that roster management and the “me first” culture around our program.

We are not well coached on either an execution or basic fundamental level (ie catching, blocking, tackling).

Our play calling on offense is atrocious.

We burned needed timeouts (as we did every game this year) because we can’t even get get the plays in. It reminded me of the end of the Miles era.

Despite all that, we won. Because we actually have some real talent. If we can get just a modicum of order brought to our overall program and in-game management, we are right back in the hunt.

This is the single biggest, fundamental reason why LSU is in the shape it currently is in. It’s cultural. LSU Football has a serious culture problem.

It started when Miles was here, with the whole NFLSU theme. It got worse under O.

I agree. Ed Orgeron probably had little to do with the 2019 success. This is supported by what happened in 2020 and 2021. The team won despite him. Aranda and Ensminger were likely critical stabilizers after that idiot was hired. Once Aranda left Orgeron had no one to keep things together, set example an by doing the right things. The players clearly knew that kind of life he led after the divorce. This gave them the green light to be undisciplined as well.
