You've stated from the beginning it was Riley's to turn down (which he now has) the denial was pretty strong and coupled with Dellengers article it pretty much enough to move on.
You just stated earlier that Stoops might be next up in the search is that for real?
Not to mention Dellenger just publicly told whole country we were going to make Riley the highest paid coach so it's slightly concerning not just if stoops is hired but the contract he would get.

You understand that just because we were willing to pay Riley 13m doesn’t mean whoever we hire gets the same deal right?

We were past that stage. Riley said yes to the ring. Riley didn't just leave us at the altar, But let us know through a text message the wedding was not going to happen.

He's definitely a better coach than O but he isn't going to be worth the contract Woodward will give him. He's on his 3rd OC he's fired the other 2.
I don't think he has the chops at all.
Especially when Aranda, Napier and Kiffin are out there. That's what I'm frustrated about there are better options left on the table.
