I love this team. It’s hard to say negative things when it’s what brings so much joy for me personally. Something does appear to be missing. And perhaps it is just piled up injuries. Or lack of experience while expecting so much out of the sophomore and freshman class. I would say it’s safe to say that both classes have come in short of where those expectations were. Again, I assume due to injures and growth spurts. My major concern is the same of what has already been said. This team is not improving, while most teams are.

I do wonder if practices have been more relaxed due to all the injuries. This team just looks messy. I don’t see any refinement of any routines at all. And I sat tonight and actually thought to myself.. maybe they just aren’t that good? On paper.. this team should be fantastic.

We have beat to death a lot of the issues. Obviously there aren’t any answers though, or I imagine we would see it. But again.. is that a coaching concern? I don’t know. I just know that we have three bars dismounts that are getting hammered right now. We have three fulls in a vault lineup.

Also, judging is absolutely ruining this sport! There has to be an overhaul this off-season.

I hope this is all mega overreaction. But right now.. I don’t feel a whole lot of hope that this team will make a run. It sucks to see so many teams improving. It sucks to see other teams gaining amazing athletes back for next season, and lsu doesn't have anyone to gain in comparison. I also realize that lsu doesn’t have much hope coming in to help with those vaults either. And I will not believe that Bryce will have a double full, until I see it.
