What happened in warmups that had the ladies distracted from Jays statement . No excuse for the talent and the number of members on this team. I really understand college gymnastics. It’s not about win/loss. The score is most important and LSU can’t catch the top 4 and probably will go down after Auburn had a tremendous meet. They have progressed and I commend them because they couldn’t do post season last season and other then the two freshman Suni and Sophia, it’s basically the same team. Talent is what gets you to the top, but great coaching is what wins championships. Jays ego and stubbornness is sadly what his downfall was at Georgia and I hope it’s not the same for us. Yes he has helped elevate LSU with regards to media and notariaty, but other than Sarah Finnegan’s two national titles, all the rest have come from Breaux and Moore. It’s no excuse because all the teams have dealt with covid, everyone has injuries, it’s apart of sports, but we haven’t progressed. If things don’t change we will be the next UCLA. All the talent but where is it going and how is it utilized?

I wouldn’t hope for much next week because it’s the supers last time in the pmac, so instead of seeing what we could throw out their and improve like someone said earlier it will probably be the same lineups. So Jay said the supers came back because nationals left a bad test in their mouth but I can’t imagine how it will taste when they never get there.

OMG, the amount of people commenting on Jay that can’t even do a cartwheel is killing me. Trust me, as someone that has been there, done that, and competed that, Jay put the best lineup he had on the floor tonight.

Everyone needs to calm down and realize this team is VERY good! Tonight doesn’t matter - and we still scored a score that will boost our NQS score. Was it a complete meet, absolutely not. Was it what i was hoping for - nope! But it still allows us to drop a 196.
