My wife is an artist in need of some more space. I've thrown out there the idea of doing a prefab outdoor studio shed either in the backyard or end of our driveway. Anyone done something like this or know of good dealers who sell these? Looking around 200-250 Sq ft.

dont see her using it much around here.
between weather issues and the bugs i doubt it ever gets used much because art is creative and you need a relaxing and more importantly a comfortable place to be creative.
if you want to do something for her then get a nice shed built for it and add window a/c and a portable heater
but at the end of the day, like most wives, they rarely follow through with hobbies so like the exercise bikes she keeps buying, they get used for a few months when new and then a year later you regret getting it

Yeah that's what I mean. Something comfortable, not a janky woodshed. She actually has an art business, not just a hobby she wants to pick up.

in that case look into those office trailers for job sites.
you can get them used in great condition because they rent them out to ship them all over and after plant shutdowns or construction projects end they are pretty much paid off so they can sell them cheap so they dont have to store them

My mom is an artist and she uses a small 15x20 or
So building we built in her backyard. I bet one of those prefabricated shed style buildings would work. If you insulated it and sealed it up some…. I’ve seen them used as cabins and such.

Artist is Austin do this all the time. There is a studio tour every year and half the artists have backyard sheds. Some are fancier than others but are functional. Put a window unit in it and you're set.
