I loved those as well, but I think with the fast paced way the game is played now, those are all but impossible. They still try to do them but they never get to go through even half the song before they cut the song off now. It sucks, but I understand why they don't seem to happen much anymore. And it's not for lack of trying.

I'm not sure which hand gestures yall are referring to. Did they coincide with what we -the band - played for those downs?

The band often has to cut those cheers off early due to an SEC rule that states once the center touches the football, the band must cut off I think its a dumb rule, myself. But I obviously don't have a say in the matter.
