What will be the weekend rotation for 2022?

Coleman might be the best strike thrower on the team and having a lefty in the rotation would be nice. I just don't know if he is consistent enough and we haven't seen him go to many innings.
Reyzelman has the best velocity on the team but I'm not sure if he will be used as a starter. He started the fall as a starter but never went more than two innings. Later in the fall he was used more as a guy to set up the closer. Coach Johnson mentioned he would like to have a guy that could come in the 7th inning and shut things down. I believe Arkansas used Kevin Kopp in a similiar role very effectively.
Devin Fontenot came back to have a shot at starting and he hasn't disappointed this fall. I don't see him as a future first round pick but I could definitely see him taking Friday or Saturday.
Coach Kelly and Hilliard both mentioned Floyd as someone to watch. I could see him starting as well.
Hilliard just seems to get the job done. I wouldn't discount Hilliard as our Sunday starter.
Cooper is a darkhorse, but I'm not too sold on that.
If I was to take a guess right now. I would say Fontenot on Friday, Floyd on Saturday and Hilliard on Sunday.

Fri - Reyzelman
Sat - Coleman or Floyd
Sun - Hilliard (he is a better starter than reliver)

It will be interesting to see how it plays out, but I am convinced the starting rotation will be mixed and matched throughout the season.
My assumption is that the coaches would like to get away with finding 3 starters without using Reyzelman in that role. I think Wild is correct at this point with how the staff sees Eric.
I think that would be great to have that luxury. That may not be possible, however, if LSU can't trot out 3 weekend starters that can get the job done.

Reyzelman will come out of the bullpen, at least to start, because so far what he has is a 95-98 mph fastball, and a 90-92 mph fastball.
The breaking stuff is still developing, and the change-up doesn't always land.
That spells closer.

Don't be terribly surprised, though, if a kid nobody thought was any good when Mainieri and Dunn were here ends up coming out of nowhere and turning into a pretty good starting pitcher. It does happen.

Something very different than what I predict now.
I think opening weekend Fontenot will start, Coleman will start, and one of Hillard/Floyd will start.
Along the way Cooper, Reyzelman, Money, and Lansville may see some starts.

No way you can rely on Floyd as a starter in the SEC unless he’s developed a better secondary pitch.

From what I've seen, Floyd has had a good fall and he had a good start in the P&G world series.

I agree his command has been a little better.
Hell...all of the pitchers I have seen have filled up the zone better.
