Shooting Instructor—NOLA

Buddy of mine grew up in the city and never learned to shoot. I took his son shooting once, and he absolutely loved it.
The young man lives overseas now, but he’s coming home for a short time and wants to shoot again. My schedule is slammed, but he asked about going out with a shooting instructor (who could supply the firearms) to spend a day shooting. This is in the NOLA area.
Any recs?

Advantage group in Robert, VATA in Mandeville, and FRC in Baton Rouge are all great instructors. From what it sounds like you need FRC would probably be your best bet.

Really? That's the first I've heard of that. Any reason why? He classes were always full.

He completed his nursing degree and is moving out of state. Happy for him. He’s been working his arse off

That's good. He was a good dude and a great instructor. Sucks for me cause his classes were about a mile from my house.

Supposed to be a guy taking over for him. He was there last weekend and I liked him. Keeping the name etc to the best of my knowledge
