Kid was showing a much more agressve side. I liked it. BTW, the 15-yarder was BS.

He did have some swagger,I saw him bobbing his head and swurving his shoulders after big plays. This team has so much depth it's sickening.

People need to understand we have a quite a few this year taking over for great departed players from last year. It's beyond rare that those shoes are automaticaly filled in to the same level. Did any of you expect Cutrera to be just like Ali Highsmith right off the bat? I didn't. Same goes for our QB, numerous DB's, WR's, etc. It's early in the season yet. Give them a bit of time and ask yourself if they are improving week to week. I think Cutrera has done that - only time on the field will make him better. For the time being cut these guys some slack and expect weekly improvement. I'm seeing it in the maturation of both Cutrera and General Lee.

Yeah, he had a swagger, but when you hit Defensive lineman to move right or left, you are suppose to fill the gap that is left, which he did not do a number of times last night.

There had been so much hating on him that I zeroed in on watching him quite a bit. He was almost always in position and made several textbook LB tackles. I think the kid is pretty good. Sheppard got beat several times on passing situations-don't know if it was the scheme, or he just got outrun.

People said he was slow, but he did a hell of a job running down that running back from behind last night.

You are quite observant LC412000....FWIW, like accolades, criticism goes a long way, especially if you are not out there doing his job!

Lets not start the Flynn vs.JR and Hester vs. other RB's type stuff again. It is not necessary to downplay other players to support your player or prove your point about a player. Talk up his abilities but don't berate other players to do so.

That has led to a lot of player bashing on this board that continues even after the player leaves LSU. It seems many will carpet bomb to prove their point. Then the other side reciprocates. It becomes a player bashing syndrome that sometime permeates this board. To prove their point there are those who wish for and predict the failure of some players (JR).

Being a fan of a particular player, whatever the reason, does not mean one has to be a hater of another player. All are LSU Tigers fighting to bring you the joy and bragging rights of a winning program. All are doing their very best.

LSUownsSEC...you are correct. Hey, get lost in the moment sometimes and forget the guys we see on the field are still only 18-22 year olds. All you ever want from these young guys is to do their best and enjoy what they are doing. My wrong on the first post.

Definitely looks better in the middle than on the outside, imo.
