I love Ak as much as anyone. I rank him 5-8 range when healthy. I'm not sure he has to body type to be a ever down back. If you watch today game the slot WR is the hardest thing to stop. The have so much room and CB can't get to them to knock them off thier routes. You watch Cooper and Deboo they are putting up insane numbers and I really believe AK would put up better number then both at that position.I may get alot down votes but when you look at AK rushing yards they aren't very good. He hasn't had a 1000 yard rushing season in his career. Its just a thought to keep AK on the field more.

Yikes. So who are the RB above him, especially if he’s on the lower end of your rankings at 8….

You realize they motion him out to slot all the fkn time, right? Why would you limit him to only one thing.....which he currently does.

Kamara has never averaged less than 4.6 yds/att. in a season and last year he averaged 5.0 yds/att. This year so far he is averaging only 3.6 yds./att. because he has had to carry the load with Tony Jones out. He does much better with a complimentary rb. like Ingram or Murray. He is a menace out in space as a receiver but they would be wasting his talent and versatility at the slot.

His average is way down this year because teams have been loading the box. We haven't been a threat with our passing game all that much

There haven't been many holes in the running game this year.

They have had some issues along the o-line all year also. The center McCoy was out for a while then Armstead and also Peat who is not a great pass blocker but he is pretty in the run block.

If he was used like Cooper Samuel it wouldn't waste him

Like McCaffrey he needs to have the in his hands as often as possible without wearing him completely out. He needs to be where he can take advantage of his vision and balance.

This is so dumb but I'll let you figure out why.

With our current WR's I do think AK should run routes more with MI in the backfield but I also would like to see MI run the sh!t out of some screens.

Yeah you definitely will and should

This isn't the benchmark for RBs anymore. More tandem backfields. More receptions out of the backfield.

He is essentially the entire offense and coming out of the backfield means he can run or catch. If you put him at the slot then you cut his options in half unless you are running a ton of WR sweeps.
