When did most of you guys start losing your hair? I'm wondering if I'm over the hump, I'll be 34 soon and haven't started losing my hair yet.
Can likely look at your lineage. My grandfathers both had full hair until their ends. Dad has full hair as well. I'm 50 and still have no loss.

My dad is pretty thin up top, my brother started losing his hair in his early 20's. I've never met my grandfather on my dad's side (he passed away before I was born), so I have no idea what his hair situation was. My grandfather on my mom's side lost his hair early, but my two uncles on that side still have/had hair in their early 60's.
So it's a mixed bag

Probably the wrong lineage since the most common genetic link is on the X chromosome and you received that from your mother.
In the most common scenario?
If your mother's father was bald she has at least a 50% and possibly 100% (depending on what X your mother's mother gave her) chance of passing her male children the baldness gene.
As an anecdotal example notice that Prince Charles has his hair but his son Prince William is bald - probably because of the X chromosome from Princess Diana
