Kind of happens when they take 48 hrs to rush out charges to satisfy the mob. Gawd I hope this kid gets generational f-u money from all the people involved here. From the local govt to media peeps to Twitter blue checks to Biden.
If it were me I would make it my full time job to hold all these SOBs accountable for their actions/words.

They actually went through a complete f*cking trial without mentioning it or proving the elements of the case.
I saw some pundits on Fox asking why didn't the defense object sooner, e.g., before the trial even started.
I don't know if the defense just missed it, but I think it could have been a smart strategic decision. Showing that the prosecutors didn't even look at the gun before filing charges within 48 hours shows that this was a political show trial where the facts never mattered to the prosecutors. I would have emphasized that fact in my closing over and over again.
