Loved the Kingfish and went to many games. It was great until the NHL and the lower leagues discouraged fighting. It was a great inexpensive fun event.
I use to call the Pier McGuire show regularly and loved when Richard Condon had Cam Brown as a guest on his local show.
A few of the Kingfish players did an appearance at the then skate shop, Asphalt and Ice, and my then young son took a pic of himself in a Blackhawks jersey scoring a goal on Paul Croteu. Still have that pic!
P.S. Pierre Mcquire is now a color commentator for the Nationally televised NHL games
