Parallel story between the fair leaders and HH Holmes. Probably the greatest nonfiction book I've read

Tells 2 stories concurrently: one about the serial killer and the other goes into great detail about the planning, building and execution of the Fair. Reveals the great inventions at the Fair also. The rise of electricity and the Ferris Wheel are things I remember. The Intl aspect of the Fair is well-covered also.
