No coach is perfect and time management is but one of Payton's flaws.
Each team usually has someone that just focuses on this issue and helps advise the coach in these situations.
Whoever that person is for the Saints sucks or Payton doesn't listen.

And when we are playing catch-up the opposite clock management happens. In the 4th quarter down 3 scores we are bleeding the clock down to 5 seconds.
