If you go with an Aranda type hire for HC bring in Freeze as your OC…I don’t think the powers that be would bite on Freeze as a HC but I think you could sell him as your OC….that would be an awesome combo imo

Why would he step down as a HC at Liberty just to be an OC again? I know, I know LSU and all, be he’s not gonna do it.

Would never hurt to ask anyway. OC at LSU or HC at Liberty, which brings the most prestige and the better chance of getting you back into the majors.

I'll answer this for him bc I know his answer. He does not want to be a coordinator. He's a head coach and if a job opens that he's interested in, he will entertain it. Lsu would be one of those jobs. He's content where he is if the right job doesn't come along.
