The huge rumor was state of play would be a huge reveal which unless I missed it in my alcohol induced World Series binge not a wimper for a longgg time which sucks because we’ve heard an actual surprising amount about remake 2 and totes silence on a new property that looks like it has epic potential. The PS5 desperately needs these titles also, and not good but need them to be great.

Been checking a couple times a week, and, nothing. The trailer looks great. The combat system looks fun. Graphics are outstanding (but they better be in a FF title).

But yeah, I have been surprised there's just nothing, period. I was excited as hell when I saw the VII Remake part 2 opening cinematics drop, so I started digging deep for literally anything new about XVI, to no avail.

I've already seen enough to know I'll definitely be pre-ordering XVI and playing it on day one, but a little new teaser info with at least a tentative guess on release date would sure be welcomed.

It’s just so strange. It appears from the outside square would have currently 2 “A” teams at the moment. Tetsyus mad lad balls out remake team, and the FF14 team who stands in bronze above pike for the way they saved a dead MMO. The 14 team is making 16 and maybe 14 is causing significant delays as it requires a ton of service
