Right or wrong, Trump is going to be seen as toxic by the middle. That's no one's fault but his own...consistent success in politics requires you to make the tent bigger, and you can't do that if you relentlessly attack everyone outside and inside the tent.
This from someone who I'd voted for him twice and wish voted for him several thousand more times in 3 or 4 different states.
Still, he's been vilified to the point that he cannot win the middle...sure, the media was always going to take shots at him regardless, but he kept reloading their guns for them. That alone means we should move on, if we hope to win anyway.

Trump won. He can win again.

They will do this with any American first candidate. They will not let the uniparty not win. They already are vilifying desantis.
I’ve heard people in Louisiana say they are afraid to go to FL because the governor is crazy.
