First let me say, I HATE the thought of a tour company. But my relatives are pushing Globus for a trip to Hawaii. I have said I don't want to do a tour company, but I feel I'm getting outvoted.Anyone have comments good or bad?

I use Viator and book tours that are unique to me and what I want to do. Most are a few hours, half day, or a full day.
Usually locals but sometimes tour guides but certainly cheaper than going through an agency. I did Pearl Harbor, an Island Tour, Snorkeling, and Hiking using Viator while in Hawaii and I've used it in other cities and countries

I am not an enthusiastic advocate for guided tours. I would rather do my own thing. That said, I have been on two Globus tours and enjoyed them very much. My first trip to Europe was on a Globus tour and it was a great introduction to places we would return to later on our own. My other Globus tour was to the Alps. I am glad we had an expert driver on those winding mountain roads. I would not hesitate to take another Globus tour.
