Any good Po-Boys in Atlanta

i've lived in Atlanta for 18 years and have never found a consistently good Po-Boy shop. Boogie's used to be great in the late 90's, but he closed shop. Anywhere else would be appreciated?

Not sure if it's there any more, but i used to eat at a place called New Orleans Cafe on Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs. It was the best poboy I could find when I lived there. This was during the mid and late 90's

Probably find much better po boys in Atlanta than in Baton Rouge.
If they only had Johnny's Pizza, North Louisiana, Sicily.

Tigersaint73, crazycajun08, tedshed, cbtullis, Lakebound and Martini,
I have noticed that there has been a number of "po-boy" places popping up all over the southeast. There are a couple in my local area. Usually these establishments are either hit or miss. Either they are really good, or you are stuck with a mediocre sammich. Tigersaint73, I am kinda like you in that I need some type of confirmation a sammich place is worth trying before I risk getting stuck with a mediocre or less than mediocre sammich.

My friend lives there and visits me often...he has tried numerous places, but says he has yet to find one.
On a side note, he did take me to this excellent Spanish place: Eclipse di Luna on Miami Circle...been there? Thoughts?

Just Loaf'n is horrible. My wife and i went there about a year and a half ago and got food to go. The shrimp were tiny, soggy, and the fries were old and soggy.

Is The Lazy Donkey in Carollton still open?
If so take a drive and get the El Cubano sandwich
It'll make you throw a poboy on da ground.
