If Woodward is so elite, that’s not a possibility.

It was a bad move to let O finish and announce it publicly. You either fire and let him go, tell him privately and let him finish, or don’t tell him anything until after the season.

Now you’ve fired him and agreed to a buyout. There’s not a lot of motivation for late nights to get this thing fixed. At least with an interim, you have a hungry coach trying to show he can handle the job.

We have 6 more weeks of the mess, including the bye.

Well, Orgeron already said he didn’t plan on coaching next season but who really knows. The USC job, which is his real dream job has an opening for head coach.

What I’m saying is that it’s in Ed’s best interest to finish this season as strong as possible b/c he’s going to probably want to continue coaching.
