I have noticed people will sit in line in their cars ANYWHERE for long periods of time. It blows my mind the amount of cars lined up at Starbucks or any other coffee shop, carpool lanes at schools, fast food drive thrus, etc. You never saw this back in the 90s or prior. People would give up after about 10 minutes and leave. Then it hit me....
smartphones. People have way too much time and they view it as an opportunity to scroll through their social media apps for 15 minutes+ and not feel guilty about it as wasted time.
