Theories on end game

I'm on the precipice of losing my job and probably not being able to find another. I'm scared to death but I've been praying about it and feel it's what I'm meant to do in this situation. But faith would be called certainty if there weren't any doubt.
My questions as to theories....
I don't think it's depopulation but I don't understand what advantage a govt gets from reduced population? doesn't that lower GDP? reduce world influence. etc?
Possibly tracking... but seems a bit far fetched.
what else is there?
is it just as "innocent" as a money grab? and/or misplaced virtue signaling?

Great Reset. The end goal is to have 90% of the population living in cities renting everything that they need. Completely dependent on the government.

As many people as possible working for large corporations and/or the government seems to be a goal as well. Much easier to control people that way than if you work for a small business

I totally support anyone who doesn't want the jab. I'm not sure I would have gotten it had I known it wouldn't do much for spread and all the stuff about how the makers are protected from liability issues. That said, if the fear porn is correct, we are going to have total collapse, anyway. I'd do what it takes to put food on the table for now and bet that total collapse is not the goal.
