Can he recruit?
Plus, just doesn't seem like something that a Steelers coach would do. The Steelers do a great job of holding on to coaches AND players. They've built their franchise on that.

I always thought Tomlin would make a better college coach than NFL coach. He's very much a CEO type of coach, but man, players love him and his ability to manage personalities is second to none (he had AB and Leveon Bell on the same team, productively). He'd kill it in recruiting.
That said, I don't want him. CEO coaches rarely sustain success at the college level, and Tomlin is pretty average when it comes to game planning and game day.

Guys this isn't a hard thing to do, its just not. Does he want to do it is probably the better question.
