Uptown go to Cooter Browns. This is my fav. spot.
If you are downtown, go to Gordon Birsch, but eat before you go.

There's a sports bar on Decatur (forgot name) but I watched the Hornets there once and it was good enough.

There is a place around there called Refs. Is that it?
If so, some guys on here were saying it was pretty good last week.

That's it. Only problem it's a small bar and pretty crowded. Service was great and TVs all around. Plus the crowd spills out on the street for some elbow room.
My g/f is coming in town for the Flor game and she's a Tenn fan. We got a hotel in the Quarter, so we'll prolly watch both games there.

You might think I'm crazy saying this but Grits is a nice place to watch games.
They just purchased some brand new big TVs for their back area and it is not super packed like Cooter Browns.
Also, the Balcony Bar on Mag. is pretty good for watching games. It has a lot of nice TVs and really good food.

Is there not alot of Tulane guys in that place? Bruno's seems like it would be a nice set up, but I kind of thought it was a Tulane bar.

please don't go to Gordon Biersch. people need to stop going there. the beers they make are horrible. their food is horrible, and their service is just as bad.

If you are staying in the Quarter you could watch it at Jazz Emporium. I was there last weekend for the Auburn game and it was a lot of fun. They have 3 for 1 drink specials during the game and dollar shots when LSU scores.

Stepbrother's in Metairie on West Napoleon at Transcontinental has a huge Tiger bash for every game. Free food and drink specials. They also have 20 HD TVs.

Bruno's is owned by a Tulane booster and his son Barth pitched for the Tulane baseball team. That said, for any LSU game the place is packed with LSU fans.

I was in the Quarter for the North Texas game. Found a little bar on Decatur called "Three Legged Dog" or something like that. Food wasn't half bad and there were TV surrounding your head everywhere you looked.

We were on bourbon street there last Saturday after the ULM-Tulane game. Upstairs at Tropical Isle was great. There were about 10 of us and 10 or so others, felt like we had our own bar with a balcony. Two or 3 tvs upstairs, could hear the tv and it wasn't crowded. We enjoyed it
