Silly statement. Pensions are a damn good reason for older folks in their 50's with 30+ years service. I'm looking at 5 to 6K a month in pension plus my healthy 401K and SS. At 62 i'm calling it quits and I want my pension. I got the vaccine because of a health reason long before any mandate was acted on (in March 2021) so its a non issue for me anyways but I think the statement is false.
I think an extra 60 to 70K a year in income in retirement is a damn good reason.

If that's what it takes for you to forfeit your medical sovereignty, then okay. Not doing that for anything, much less a pension.
