With live cattle bringing a $1.24 per pound and boxed beef at $1.96, think about why the prices in the grocery store are what they are and who actually is making the profit out of all of this.

They’re bringing a little more than that here but with increased inputs and feed commodities the margins are razor thin or nonexistent for producers. The packers have been making out like bandits for years.
