I have faith in Woodward, but at the end of the day, he will do whatever Tate tells him to do. If a diversity hire is indeed the direction LSU insists on going, there are much better qualified coaches out there, such as Aranda and Franklin. If Michigan State tanks and Tucker is hired anyway, how will the high dollar donors respond?

I like Franklin. I think he could do very well here. Question is can he do 2 nattys in 5 years well. This hire will have an opportunity to step into a Saban-less SEC within that time frame.
